I am glad you weren't afraid of spreading yourself too thin :-)<br /><br />I think what I struggle with more is getting other people to want to go deeper than surface level with me and invest in the friendship. I think I tend to go too deep too fast.<br /><br />“It doesn't happen all at once,” said the Skin Horse. “You become. It takes a long time.”<br /><br />I liked that part. I also liked your list of simple, little things you do to show people you care "It can mean telling someone one thing you appreciate about them. Or seeing something in a store that reminds you of a friend and getting it for them."<br /><br />It is a compilation of those little things that build deep relationships and it doesn't happen overnight.<br /><br />Anyway, good thoughts!
